Tournament Rules

General Rules

All official tournaments at OHN are run in accordance with the official OzHadou tournament rules. All competitors at OHN are expected to familiarise themselves with these rules before the competition begins.

The following rules also apply for all official tournaments at OHN.

All tournaments will be Double Elimination using 4 Pools. Play will proceed until only 2 players remain in each pool. Those players will then compete in the Final 8 brackets on the last day of the tournament (Sunday).

In the event of a draw game (i.e. both players win 2 rounds each due to a Double KO) the game will be replayed until a result is obtained. All characters are allowed in tournament play.

BYO Controllers

For console tournaments, all competitors are required to bring their own controller when reporting for their matches.

Players can borrow controllers from other people at the event if they do not have their own controller, however if they do not arrive with a controller ready to go within 2 minutes of their match being called they will forfeit the match.

All official console tournaments at OHN are run using Xbox 360 consoles.

Bracket Seeding

Ranked and regional seeding will be used to seed the brackets for all official tournaments at OHN.

Ranked seeds will be based on results from the Regionals tournament series. Ranks will be adjusted if the player order breaches the rules for regional spread. All other players will be seeded by region.

Entry Fees

The entry fee is $10 per person per official tournament game.

Official Tournament Prizes

The winner of each official tournament will receive an OHNX trophy.

The top 8 players in each official tournament will also receive a share of the total entry fees raised for that game, along with other prizes as detailed below.

The OHN Team thanks Kevin Lui for donating an additional $200 to the prize pool for TTT2, which is included in the prize amounts shown below.
